Additional efforts by regulatory agencies and calls for federal privacy legislation are also mentioned.<br /><br />Future directions for AI in medicine include integrating AI into workflows, refining algorithms with diverse datasets, standardizing imaging protocols, and addressing ethical, regulatory, and legal considerations.
