Joe Vicari, co-chair of the ASGE Advanced Practice Provider Task Force, discusses the upcoming annual GI Advanced Practice Provider course offered by ASGE. The course will be held on March 31st and April 1st and will cover topics such as creating high-quality consultations, optimizing the role of APPs, work-life satisfaction, and building APP leaders. Day two will focus on the clinical portion, including lectures on abnormal liver tests, management of liver disease complications, celiac disease, acute pancreatitis, and inflammatory bowel disease.
