The ASGE Annual Postgraduate Course is a hybrid program that brings together experts from around the world to discuss evidence-based and outcomes-driven endoscopic management of gastrointestinal and related disorders. The course will cover a wide range of topics, including GI bleeding, upper endoscopy challenges, GI carbon footprint, colonoscopy, endoscopy practice, endohepatology, large colon polyp resection, obesity and endoscopy, EUS/ERCP challenges, and artificial intelligence and future technology in GI. The objective is to provide participants with tools, techniques, and tips to optimize outcomes in everyday as well as advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. The course will incorporate didactic lectures, case-based discussions, video-cases, and panel discussions with audience participation.<br /><br />The target audience for this course includes international and U.S.-based participants, including practicing gastroenterologists, surgical endoscopists, gastroenterology trainees, endoscopy nurses, and technicians. The course offers a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians.<br /><br />Participants can claim CME and MOC credits by completing an online evaluation survey through ASGE GI Leap. The course presentations, bonus materials, and course recordings will be available for participants in the GI Leap platform. After completing the evaluation and claiming credits, participants can print off their certificates.<br /><br />The ASGE assures high-level scientific evidence and adherence to neutrality in this educational activity. All faculty and staff involved in the course have disclosed their relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies and any potential conflicts of interest have been addressed and mitigated. The course is designed to meet ASGE's Level 3a - Learning: Declarative knowledge on an anticipated outcome-based education (OBE) scale and addresses desirable physician attributes such as medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice. ASGE's continuing medical education program aims to maintain, develop, or increase learner's knowledge, skill, and professional performance.<br /><br />Some faculty members have disclosed relevant financial relationships with eligible companies, but these relationships have been mitigated. The course is supported by educational grants from Boston Scientific Corporation, Cook Medical, and the Olympus Corporation of Americas.
