The patient is sent for interventional radiology drainage and also develops a DVT and is started on anticoagulation. The patient continues to have fevers and inadequate drainage, leading to referral for endoscopic drainage. The video discusses the indication for drainage, preferred endoscopic techniques, and the use of EUS-guided drainage with luminoposing metal stents or double pigtail stents. Additional procedures, such as necrosectomy and treatment of complications like bleeding pseudoaneurysms, are also discussed.
