Video Summary
The ASGE postgraduate course for 2022 is about to begin. Course directors include Amrita Sethi from Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Pratik Sharma from University of Kansas Medical Center, and Dr. Monica Fisher from Indiana University. They thank everyone for attending the hybrid course, with special thanks to Doug Rex, president of ASGE, for the opportunity. The virtual format has allowed for fine-tuning of virtual capabilities and the inclusion of live endoscopy from around the world. The course is supported by educational grants from several companies. The ASGE requires disclosure of financial relationships with commercial interests. The staff behind the scenes and AV team are acknowledged for their hard work. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are emphasized. Housekeeping instructions are given. The course offers continuing education credits. Amrita and Monica are congratulated on their recent promotion to full professors.
