Good morning, everybody, and welcome to the ASGE postgraduate course for 2022. My name is Amrita Sethi, I'm from Columbia University Medical Center in New York, and I am joined by my co-course directors, Dr. Pratik Sharma from University of Kansas Medical Center and Dr. Monica Fisher from Indiana University. We would very much like to thank you for all of your efforts to make it here today and joining us in this hybrid course. We thank Doug Rex, president of ASGE, for pairing us together and giving us this opportunity to bring you back live for this excellent event. We know there have been a lot of challenges to bring us here over the past few years and even today with travel and weather, but we are so excited that you're joining us. We would especially like to thank our esteemed faculty from around the world in helping us put together the content for this postgraduate course. In a way, being virtual for two years has actually been a bit of a benefit because we've really been able to fine-tune our virtual capabilities and for the first time we're going to bring you live endoscopy from around the world as well. And we'd like to recognize also Moeen Khashab for all of his efforts and initiatives and join us tomorrow for more live endoscopy from the ASGE. The ASGE requires that all who are in a position to direct content from the program disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interests. And the ACCME defined ineligible companies. Please note that all disclosures have been mitigated. This course is supported in part by educational grants from the Boston Scientific, Cook Medical, Medtronic, Olympus Corporation of the Americas, and Pentax Medical, and we thank them for all of their support. Most importantly, we would like to thank the ASGE staff for working behind the scenes tirelessly, in particular Marilyn, for keeping us in track over this past year, keeping us in line, and helping us to bring you this fantastic program today, as well as Lyle and his AV team behind the scenes that are helping with live. We want to make you aware of ASGE's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Please raise your own awareness related to diversity, equity, and inclusion while working to also raise awareness in your own institutions, practice, and the communities that you serve. Before we get started, there are a few housekeeping items. You'll notice that there are no microphones around the room. That's because we will be using Poll Everywhere for you to submit your questions throughout the day. And we encourage you to submit those by downloading the QR code, download the QR code and bring up the app, and join the web directly at PollEV.com. You can enter ASGE events or join by text, and text ASGE events to 22333. Please note that this program is being recorded and will be posted on GILeap, ASGE's online learning management platform, early in July. You will have ongoing access to these recordings as part of your registration. And today, we ask that you silence your phones so as to help with this recording. At the conclusion of the course, we would very much appreciate your feedback, particularly during this first inaugural hybrid event, and complete the course evaluation that will be located on GILeap. This course has been approved for 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 credits, and it's approved for ABIM Maintenance of Certification points. With that said, who's ready to start this course and have an amazing day? I need to hear it. Excellent. Prateek, take it away. Okay, thanks. Amrita, before you step down, just wanted to acknowledge both Amrita and Monica, and it's been a pleasure working this entire year with you. But more importantly, within the last week, both of them got promoted to full professors at their respective institutions, so round of applause for them. Thank you.
