The course is being co-directed by Dr. Kenneth Chang and Dr. Pichamol Jirapinyo. <br /><br />In Session 1, moderated by Drs. Ken Binmoeller, Pichamol Jirapinyo, Amit Rastogi, and Thomas Rösch, there will be two cases presented. The first case will be on EUS-guided pancreatic fluid collection drainage by Dr. Ji Bang from Orlando Health. The second case will cover EUS-guided gastroenterostomy and will be presented by Dr. Christopher Thompson from Brigham and Women’s Hospital.<br /><br />Session 2, moderated by Drs. Todd Baron, Natalie Cosgrove, Jason Samarasena, and Amy Tyberg, will also feature two cases. The first case will focus on EUS-guided biliary drainage, including choledochoduodenostomy or hepaticogastrotomy, and will be presented by Dr. Marc Giovannini from Palo Kammettes Institute. The second case will cover EUS-guided PPG measurement, shear wave, and liver biopsy, and will be presented by Dr. Kenneth Chang from the University of California Irvine.<br /><br />During this session, there will be a lunch break. After the break, the session will continue with two more cases. The first case will be on EUS-guided gallbladder drainage by Dr. Shayan Irani from Virginia Mason. The second case will cover EUS-guided gastroenterostomy and will be presented by Dr. Manuel Perez-Miranda from Hospital Universitario Rio Hortega.<br /><br />In the final session, moderated by Drs. Todd Baron, Natalie Cosgrove, Jason Samarasena, and Amy Tyberg, two cases will be presented. The first case will focus on Endoscopic Ultrasound Direct transGastric ERCP (EDGE) and will be presented by Dr. Mouen Khashab from Johns Hopkins Hospital. The second case will cover EUS-guided coil embolization with absorbable gelatin sponge for gastric varices and will be presented by Dr. Marvin Ryou from Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
