High-resolution manometry and the Chicago Classification, diagnostic approaches in esophageal motility disorders, and individualizing management in achalasia will also be covered. Other sessions will focus on eosinophilic esophagitis, complex esophageal strictures, reflux and dysmotility in the bariatric setting, and risk stratification and surveillance in Barrett's esophagus. <br /><br />The second day, July 16, will feature case-based discussions led by moderators. Topics for discussion will include cough conundrums, failed fundoplication, esophageal varices, esophageal emergencies, common pitfalls in esophageal testing and interpretation, refractory Barrett's esophagus, squamous cell neoplasia in the esophagus, the spectrum of the lichenoid esophagus, and refractory eosinophilic esophagitis. <br /><br />Hands-on sessions will also be offered, focusing on techniques such as TIF (transoral incisionless fundoplication) demonstration, stenting, suturing, pH capsule testing, closure, variceal banding, and endoscopic mucosal resection. <br /><br />The conference will conclude with a wrap-up session, lunch, and adjournment. Attendees staying at the Marriott Hotel can take advantage of continuous shuttle service to and from the ASGE facility.
