Good morning, my name is Jonathan Biscaglia. I'm a professor of medicine at Stony Brook University on Long Island in the School of Medicine there, and this is my co-course director. Good morning, I'm Akui Asambang, interventional gastroenterologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and also the director of global health programs at MGHEI. Our other course director Dr. Audrey Calderwood is on her way, so we'd like to get started this morning by welcoming everybody to the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy post graduate course entitled Leveraging New Advances to Improve Patient Outcomes. On behalf of the ASGE and my course co-directors Dr. Asambang and Dr. Calderwood, I'd like to thank everybody for joining us at this hybrid course. As course co-directors, we feel absolutely privileged to be given the opportunity to develop this year's course and to bring this great content to you, the attendees, both in person and virtually. We'd like to especially thank our esteemed faculty, here they are, we'd like to especially thank our esteemed faculty in helping put together the content for the course. This is truly a stellar group of experts delivering these lectures today. The lectures promise to be highly relevant and practical and we're confident they will provide you the knowledge you need to achieve the best outcomes for your patients. ASGE requires all who are in position to direct content for this program to disclose all the relevant financial relationships with any commercial interests and all disclosures have been mitigated. Of course this course has been supported in part by our educational grants from the Boston Scientific Corporation and Olympus Corporation of America and we'd like to thank our sponsors. Important, before we get started a couple of housekeeping items. The ASGE postgraduate course will be using Poll Everywhere for questions and answers throughout the day. This makes the day engaging and fun and it's great for the audience and the speakers up on the stage so please take some time to download and snap a photo of this QR code so you can use it and submit your answers to some of the polling questions throughout the day. I'll give you a minute to grab this on your phone or take a snapshot if you haven't done this already. Please note that the program is being recorded and will be posted on GILeap, ASG's online learning management platform, early in July. You have ongoing access to the recording and GILeap is part of your registration. Also, we ask that everybody silence their mobile devices for the presentations. This course has been approved for six and a half AMA, PRA, Category 1 credits, CME credits, and also it's been approved by the American Board of Internal Medicine for maintenance of certification points or mock points. In addition to your course registration, you'll also have access to the presentations and a downloadable PDF form as well. And at conclusion of the course, we would appreciate receiving your feedback. So please complete the evaluation so we can learn to constantly make improvements to future courses for the ASGE. With that, enjoy the course, everyone.
