ASGE Master Class, Barrett's esophagus, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and esophageal adenocarcinoma. I'm Prashanthi Thoda from Cleveland Clinic, I'm a gastroenterologist. On behalf of my course co-director, Dr. Prasad Iyer from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, we'd like to thank you for joining us. Dr. Iyer needs no introduction, he is professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic and an eminent researcher in the field of Barrett's esophagus and esophageal carcinogenesis. He is a national and international authority on Barrett's esophagus and wrote the latest guidelines for Barrett's esophagus for ACG. I'm privileged to know him as a person too, he is humble and down to earth in spite of his incredible accomplishments, and I'm honored to be asked to present this course along with Dr. Iyer, and I'm not sure why I'm invited, but probably it is difficult to find somebody to speak on a cold Saturday morning for 10 hours.
