On March 13, 2023, the ASGE IT&T Center in Downers Grove, IL will host the Basic ARIA Program. The morning session will focus on the GI tract in health, while the afternoon session will cover the GI tract in disease, including topics such as lower GI bleeding, colorectal cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease. <br /><br />After lunch, there will be a hands-on session in the Bio Skills Simulation Lab, where participants will learn basic scope handling, foreign body removal, injections/clips, and other procedures commonly performed by gastroenterologists. <br /><br />The afternoon will also include case-based discussions and a continuation of the interactive discussion about the day in the life of a gastroenterologist. The program will conclude with a Q&A session before adjourning. <br /><br />Overall, the Basic ARIA Program aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the GI tract and the procedures performed by gastroenterologists.
