straggling colleagues out there still drinking coffee? Okay, good, all right, good, thanks. All right, I'm Dr. Vincy Abraham, be your course director for today, but I have some amazing faculty to be working with you and welcome to our ASGE ARIA program. So we have Dr. Guha, who's actually from Houston as well, and Dr. Anand Kumar, he's actually from Philly, so he's only our northern faculty here, so he understands the snow. I'm like, ooh, there's snow, I haven't seen this in a few years, no. And Dr. Neha Mathur, who's also from Houston Methodist Hospital, one of my colleagues as well. These are amazing teachers. We've been training our GI fellows over our lifetime, so you're going to get great experience from all of us during this program. So just letting you know who's here, I think you may know each other or not, but these are the companies that are here. It looks like today it's all device-related companies, no other specific pharma companies, but we offer it to pharma companies as well. So if you have other colleagues who are interested, you've done this course and think this would be beneficial for them, let us know as well. All right, so today's objectives, we're going to go through and get GI training, like GI 101, so you at least know a little bit, I don't know, maybe more than our GI fellows, but don't tell them that when you see them back at work. So you'll understand basic GI anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. We'll talk about what the healthy GI tract is supposed to be all about, and then go into the commonly encountered GI diseases, and of course, endoscopic findings based on them as well. And then really, besides just the medical knowledge part you'll gain from here, there's really another component of it is this communication with the GI team, really get to know us from our daily clinical practice perspective, and then using that to see how we can communicate well with you guys as well, and how can we combine our knowledges and our expertise together from your perspective, from our perspective, to really optimize patient care as well. So it's really like a mutual relationship. And of course, part of this training when you're done, you'll earn the ARIA Certification of Completion program. Of course, you do have to pass the test, so hopefully you're paying attention during the course as well. And then for future opportunities for education, if you feel like there's another area that you really want us to focus on in the future for future colleagues or so, let us know. All right, so this is the agenda. So we will start in just a bit talking about having a little panel discussion of all of our faculty, and you get the opportunity to ask us questions. So this is all on you. See what you want to learn from us, from just our perspective of our careers. We'll have a quick break, and then we'll actually start all the lectures, but pay attention. We're not gonna give you away all the answers for your post-test. I did see your pre-test questions, so I know how you guys did. All right, we'll do a photo, we'll go to lunch, and then the fun part of this, we'll go to the Bioskills Lab and do the hands-on session and come back with some cases that we can discuss through. And hopefully you're all GI experts by then. You can answer all of the questions regarding the cases too, all right. All right, so you have Wi-Fi here, ASGE guest network, no password needed. And if you have questions, please press the push button on your microphone because it's going to be recorded. And so I'd be able to actually also hear what you're asking us to, and then you can turn it off when you're done, okay? All right, and to get to the Bioskills Lab, just go to the restrooms, and it's through there, through the lockers to get there. Just remember, no food or drink there. And put on a gown over your clothes. If you wanna leave your jackets or something here, that's completely fine as well. And you'll have a station number that's in the front of your badge so you know which station to go to when it's time for that. And then the presentations will be on GI Leap. So if you wanna go back and review something, you can always have access to that. And you can just email Michelle. And after this, as I said, there is a post-test and it's due by March 31st. You have to score 80% or higher. So, but I saw the pre-test questions. It seems like some of you guys were really smart or you Googled all the answers or for a majority of you, I think this will be a good program for you. All right. And then there's an open ARIA online evaluation to help us improve the program. And please, honest feedback, okay? All right, so let's get started.
