Good morning, everyone. You're all able to hear me okay? Okay, great. So, hi, I'm Femi Qasim, I'm going to be your course director here today for our Open ARIA class. I'm glad to have everyone here. So let's just kind of go over what to expect for the day. So first of all, our faculty. So we're very lucky to have, first of all, Dr. Bianca Ching. She is an assistant professor and also the assistant medical director of motility at Cedars-Sinai. We have Dr. Tiffany Chua here. She's coming from the University of Florida, assistant professor and advanced endoscopist. We have Dr. Sush Guha. He is the medical director of the Houston Regional Gastroenterology Institute. And later on, Dr. Kajali Mishra will be joining us. She is a physician at Stroger Hospital, Cook County, and her specialty of interest is inflammatory bowel disease. So I'm glad to have you all here. We do have a mixed group here for our Open ARIA course today. So we have folks from Ironwood, Olympus, Merit, Medtronic, and Microtech. So I hope that you can all get to mingle and get to know each other. And today's objective. So the way the course is organized is almost how we learn about medicine and medical school as well. So first, we're going to talk about basic healthy anatomy and physiology. And then we're going to talk about GI diseases. And then we'll also talk about different endoscopic findings and techniques that we use to treat those findings. But a lot of the focus today is also going to be how we can basically enhance your relationship with physicians and gastroenterologists. And that's in terms of just improving your knowledge base and also strategies to improve patient care and how you can help us as well too. And also, as part of the program today, you're going to be, after you complete the course and complete the post-test, enter your evaluations, you'll also get the ARIA seal. This is kind of a certificate of your completion. You can have a little kind of logo that you can put on business cards or an email signature that will basically present to the outside world that, yes, you have this basic confidence when it comes to GI knowledge and that you've been certified by ASG. And then you'll also have ongoing opportunities for further education as well. We do have advanced ARIA courses that kind of delve more into specific disease states and medications and procedures. So the agenda for today. So we're going to start out with a panel discussion. We call it the day in the life. So this is your opportunity. This is your opportunity, sorry, to ask us about our day-to-day practice and how you as representatives can integrate yourselves into our daily lives. We'll have a little bit of a break, then we'll do our lectures, then we'll break for lunch. And then for that, we usually gather in the lobby to take a group photo. And then we're going to move to the bioskills lab. So this is kind of our endoscopy lab where we're going to have anatomical specimens, pig stomachs, and real endoscopy scopes that you can use and try out some of the devices that we use on a daily basis. We'll take another break. And then we'll do the case-based discussions where we kind of go through some cases and questions. And then we'll do another day in the life panel and also have opportunity for questions at the end. Now I should say, because this is a smaller group, it's really nice. So if you do have questions, feel free to jump in and we'll be able to answer them. So in terms of Wi-Fi, so we do have a Wi-Fi network. It's ASG underscore guest, and that's the password there. And make sure you accept the terms of use to be able to get access. Now we do request, now since all of these sessions are being recorded online, if you do have questions, please do use the microphone, even if you project a lot better than, say, I do, in order to get your questions recorded. Just press the button in the middle. The light will turn green, and you don't have to continuously press it. So you just press. It'll be on. Press it again to turn it off. Now the Bioskills Lab, we'll all kind of go as a group after lunch regardless, but basically there are restrooms. There's men's and women's restrooms, and then there's a locker and a locker room as well. You can store your belongings there, and then they all kind of meet together in the Bioskills Lab. A couple of other housekeeping things, food and drink are not allowed in the lab. When you enter the lab, you can just put on a lab coat over your clothes to just protect them, but anything else that you want to take off like a jacket or whatnot, you can leave them in the lockers. And then on your badge, you'll see the number. You'll see a number on there, and that's actually your station numbers. There's five different stations. We break you up so that you all get enough time with the scopes. Now the presentations are going to be available or recorded and are going to be available on our platform called GI Leap. If you do have any issues with accessing the recordings after the course, just email Michelle Thomas. I'm sure you all have her email, but mthomas.asu.org, and she can help you get registered. Great. And then also, as a reminder, I know you all completed the pretest assessment. You will also need to complete your online post-assessment by October 29th, and a passing grade is over 80%, and based on your pretest scores, I have no doubt that you'll all be able to meet that. And then also, we are going to request that you do an online evaluation just so we can hear feedback from you so we can make this better in the future. All right. So let's get started. So if we can have all of our panelists come up front.
