if that's okay. Thank you. So, thank you. Good morning to everybody. It's an honor and a pleasure to be introducing this course to the team of Medtronic. First of all, you know, it's great to see some familiar faces, some people that I have known for years, some that I'm just getting to meet. And I'm sure that goes for all of us. But it's very exciting to do this ERCP course on behalf of ASTE and Medtronic. And the beauty of this is, I'm not sure who I'm representing, but I think I'm representing everybody. So, and I think we all feel this way. Moving on to the next slide, I think, just for introductions, Dr. Chahal doesn't really need introduction. She's a well-known, renowned endoscopist, especially in the field of pancreatic tubular diseases, US ERCP. And I'm her sidekick. Moving on to our faculty, we have some amazing faculty, Dr. Chandrasekhar from the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Daywal from University of South Carolina, Dr. Grace Kim, local Chicago, Dr. Kochhar from Allegheny, Dr. Khara, Dr. Jeff Lee, who I've known about since I was a trainee and have heard great things about. And I can't believe that it's taken, I don't know, 15 plus years for me to finally actually meet, have the pleasure of meeting Dr. Lee. And same goes with Dr. Astogi. I know of him from when I was a trainee and finally we meet. So that's the beauty of these little events, that you get to see people, even though you see them on the podium at national conferences, one-on-one meetings occur like this. And then, you know, the up-and-coming rising stars like Dr. Drew here. So that's the faculty. And of course, we have the great Medtronic sort of team and attendees. So why AREA? Well, I think there's a unique kind of a collaboration that the ASGE has with industry partners. And we sort of, on behalf of the ASGE, we thank you for this relationship. We know that patient care and technology advancement cannot happen in isolation. It requires a whole team between physicians, healthcare systems, you know, and, of course, industry. The technologies that you develop and bring to the front and us collaborating allows us to move forward. The ASGE as a society representing physicians as well as patient sort of advocacy is sort of grateful for the relationship with industry and also sees this as an opportunity for education both of industry partners as well as physicians that are part of the membership. And then to use these platforms to sort of educate on both sides, it's a two-way process. You know, learning can never be one way because if that's the case, then it stops. If we don't learn from each other, then we're not really doing ourselves any favors. So we learn from industry about the up and coming and some of the practical aspects of healthcare. And on the other side, we can be more technical about what actually works for patient care. And for Medtronic coming into the field of ERCP, I'm sure a lot of the people in this room have some experience, especially if you've been with other companies. But if it's not your day-to-day sort of job description, ERCP is a technical and a higher risk procedure. So this is a good platform for you to learn more about that. So our objectives in that regard are to gain insights into the procedure of ERCP. And I say ERCP with the knowledge and the fact that nothing is in isolation. The field has moved to the point where ERCP cannot be viewed as in isolation. ERCP is always complemented by other modalities, which we'll talk about as the course goes on, but also recognizing its important role and then the associated risks and benefits, which we'll go over. Improving communication between the various sort of team members, whether that's the physicians, the nurses, the industry members, and then being recognized for this collaboration. You know, once you have this formal introductory full day, hopefully an enjoyable sort of introduction to ERCP, then you feel more comfortable when you're talking to the annoying physician who's a bit irritated and just decides, you know, I'm just going to take it out on my industry rep today. So hopefully you guys are much more sort of engaged and much more empowered to be in a position to talk about ERCP. Here's a bit of a outline of the day. You have this in your schedule, so I won't sort of belabor it. The first half is basically didactic talks, and then in the second half you'll get exposure to some of the procedural techniques as well as also some additional talks. And then we'll sort of wrap it up towards five o'clock. Some housekeeping items. The Wi-Fi code, it's also posted everywhere, but it's guest at ASGE, and you can just feel free to log in and use it. To use the mics, you just have to push the button to talk and then turn it off. Pretty straightforward. The bioskills lab will be behind the auditorium on the other side of the foyer, and they'll show you the way there. No food and drink. Please do wear a gown, and everything is labeled and people will be guided in the right spot. So it should be pretty straightforward. And that's the other thing is ASGE GI Leap. All the presentations, the updated presentations, will be up there for your access in the future. And feel free to talk to us, reach out to us individually. We're more than happy to share our cell phones, emails, if you need any information, either today or later on too. And please, please, obviously we all want to try and improve on the experience, so please do give feedback and let us know how we can do things better for the future. There is an exam, and I guess there's a passing score of greater than 80 percent. And this exam is due April 2nd. I'm not sure what the penalty is if they don't do it. Yeah, it's like no bonus. But I'm sure, you know, for your own benefit, obviously doing it. And let's get this day going. I think the less I speak, the better. I will introduce somebody from your side, Amy Bates, who is the Director of Education for Medtronic, to come up and say a few words before we can get the day going. Thank you.
