The Regeneron and Sanofi Custom ARIA Program is a two-day event held on June 6-7, 2023, at ASGE IT&T in Downers Grove, IL. The program is designed to provide industry professionals with an in-depth understanding of gastrointestinal (GI) disease and healthcare in order to support positive patient outcomes. The program includes didactic instruction, practical experience, and hands-on training in ASGE's educational center and simulation lab. Participants who complete the program successfully receive an ASGE Certificate of Completion, use of the ARIA seal, and other recognition benefits and marketing tools.<br /><br />The first day of the program begins with registration and breakfast with the faculty, followed by sessions on the GI tract in health and disease. Faculty experts cover topics such as the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and tools of the gastroenterologist. After a break, there is an interactive discussion with the faculty on various aspects of being a gastroenterologist. The day concludes with an ASGE hands-on session in the bio-skills lab, a knowledge challenge, and a summary of the day's learning. <br /><br />The second day of the program starts with breakfast with the faculty, followed by sessions on the epidemiology, diagnosis, pathologists' perspective, and pathophysiology and treatment of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). There is also a continuation of the interactive discussion with the faculty, focusing on EoE. Clinical case discussions on adult patients with dysphagia, adolescent EoE, and the patient experience are held. The day ends with a knowledge challenge, course summary, and presentation of prizes. Shuttle services are provided between the hotel and ASGE IT&T for participants, and there is an offsite dinner for faculty and Regeneron/Sanofi leaders.
