The 2022 Sanofi ARIA Program is scheduled to take place on June 14-15, 2022 at the ASGE IT&T in Downers Grove, IL. The program is led by course director William M. Tierney, MD FASGE and features a faculty of expert gastroenterologists and industry professionals.<br /><br />The program is designed to provide industry professionals with a comprehensive understanding of gastrointestinal (GI) diseases and healthcare in general. Through didactic instruction, practical experience, and hands-on training in ASGE's educational center, participants will learn from world-class faculty in GI and endoscopy. The program aims to increase participants' confidence in engaging with clinicians in a more interactive and comprehensive manner.<br /><br />The first day of the program begins with registration and breakfast with the faculty. It includes sessions on the GI tract in health and disease, with topics such as the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. There are also discussions on the tools of the gastroenterologist and a day in the life of a gastroenterologist.<br /><br />The second day of the program focuses on eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), with both group sessions and hands-on sessions. Topics covered include epidemiology and diagnosis of EoE, pathophysiology, current treatment options, and clinical case discussions.<br /><br />At the end of each day, there is a knowledge challenge with prizes for the top performers. The program concludes with a course summary and the presentation of prizes.<br /><br />Participants who successfully complete the program and its objectives are awarded an ASGE Certificate of Completion, use of the ARIA seal, and other prestigious recognition benefits and marketing tools.<br /><br />The program also includes shuttle services between the Marriott Oak Brook hotel and ASGE IT&T for participant convenience.
