Pdf Summary
This document is a training program on the patient experience of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE). The goals and objectives of the training include understanding the symptoms and signs experienced by EoE patients, reviewing the testing and treatment required for EoE, recognizing what patients value in treatment options, understanding adverse events with available treatments, and recognizing the importance of clinical follow-up and its impact on patient outcomes for EoE.

The training includes an introduction to a patient who has been suffering from EoE for many years. The patient will share their story about living with EoE, their experience with the medical system, and their priorities in choosing treatment options. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask the patient questions.

Some of the questions that will be asked to the patient include when and how they were first diagnosed with EoE, whether they had any emergency room visits or severe symptoms that led them to seek urgent care, how EoE has impacted their quality of life, if they suffer from any other allergic conditions, what treatments they have tried in the past, any barriers they have encountered in pursuing treatments, whether they have been consistently followed and treated for EoE, the most important aspect of their care in coping with EoE and other allergic conditions, and their biggest fear regarding EoE.

Overall, this training program aims to provide insights into the patient experience of EoE, the challenges they face, and their priorities in treatment and care.
