All righty, guys. So thank you so much for taking this weekend to be with us. We're really excited that you all are here, both in person as well as all the people online as well for our Therapeutic EWIS course for Advanced Endocrinographers. I'm Linda Lee. I'm in Boston at Brigham and Women's Hospital. And I'd like to introduce my co-course director, Dr. Amit Rastgi, who is Professor of Medicine at University of Kansas. And we think we've designed a really exciting, comprehensive program for you all about the cutting edge in Therapeutic EWIS over the course of today and tomorrow, both lectures and hands-on. And we just really want to encourage everybody here in person as well as online, just please ask any and all questions that you have to any and all of us at any time. We're here. We don't have all the answers. We know this is a developing field still. But we are happy to discuss and talk and brainstorm with you guys. So thank you so much again for being here with us. Thank you, Linda, and welcome, everyone. We'll have a hopefully very good, informative course and good discussion over the next couple of days. I wanted to first thank all of you for coming and attending this course and also to the faculty taking the time off. So heartfelt thanks from both Linda and myself for coming and spending time away from family and being part of this course. As you can understand, we have a very good mix of faculty. We have few very experienced, I wouldn't say old, but very experienced pioneers in EWIS and up-and-coming stars, young folks. So that's how we designed the faculty for this course is to have a mix and match of very experienced and younger folks. So a couple of housekeeping points. I wanted to obviously thank our partners from the industry for their generous contribution to help us with this course, Boston Scientific, Fuji, Microtech, and Olympus. And you're all encouraged to visit the exhibits during the break. So all your badges will have a red dot and a blue dot. So we are dividing the entire group into two smaller groups. Depending on which badge you are, you'll have to follow the sequence. So today, one group will be attending the lectures in the afternoon, while the other group will be going for the hands-on session in the lab. And we'll switch those groups tomorrow. So just please follow whichever group you're in, either group A or group B. So the hands-on session, some of you have already probably come to the lab. So the BioSkills lab, you go to the main restrooms, proceed to the locker. And then to the lab, you'll have disposable gowns over there. No food and drinks are allowed inside the lab. But you'll have lockers and a table to keep your belongings. And we all encourage you to ask questions. So for the online participants, for the virtual participants, we encourage them to use the Q&A box and not the chat box. So that is very important for them to remember. And for you guys who are in the room, please press the button in front of you in the microphone. The green light will come on. That will be a sign that the microphone is on. You can ask a question and then press it again to turn it off. And most importantly, we love to have your online evaluation in GILeap, because this will help us to plan future courses, as well as to make changes. So have a very good, frank discussion in your online evaluation will always help us to plan for the courses.
