Hello, good morning, everyone, one year online. Good morning, everyone. Good morning, Prateek. Welcome, everyone. We are delighted to have you here for the ASGE EGD masterclass. Again, my name is Vani Konda, and I'm the medical director of Baylor Scott and White Center for Esophageal Diseases. And it is my honor and pleasure to be here with Prateek Sharma, my course co-director who is a professor of medicine at University of Kansas School of Medicine and is on the ASGE governing board and treasurer. We are so excited to have a group of world experts in upper endoscopy to guide us through some of the challenges that we face like eosinophilic esophagitis, esophageal strictures, and gastric metaplasia and neoplasia. And so we have Dr. Desai, Dr. Early, and Dr. Hirano to join us today to guide us through these topics. And I will now hand over to Prateek. OK, thanks, Vani. And again, my good morning also to everyone who is joining us from their homes or offices. And this is one of the first and unique masterclasses from the ASGE, which is dedicated to EGD or upper endoscopy. And although it can include a whole variety of topics, we've decided to focus on these three. And Vani and I thought that they would be very practical tips that we can provide to you today throughout this morning. And this is ASGE's commitment to higher education. And you can see that the conflict of interest will be disclosed, financial relationships, as well as, you know, all the experts were carefully selected based on their content expertise, teaching excellence, and professionalism. ASGE does require everyone to provide you with these conflicts of interest. Also, I mean, our request to you is to maintain a professional dialogue that is relevant and respectful to all of you based on DEI principles. And again, making sure that you also are aware of this and raise these issues in your own institution. And this is ASGE's commitment to DEI, not just now, but also for the future. And now coming back to what will be happening throughout this morning is all of you who are listening to the lectures do have the opportunity during the Q&A and the case discussion session to put in your questions in the Q&A box. So that's very critical. All of us have been using this for a few years now. So don't use the chat function, but rather use the Q&A function and Vani and I will do our best to get to all of your questions during this. During that part of the session, also Vani will be presenting some cases. So you can ask questions either about the cases or any of the lectures that you've heard. And the experts will all be there during the Q&A session. The online evaluation is there. So make sure that you do complete the online evaluation. This helps us in the ASGE to conduct future such courses based on your feedback, whether it's about topics, whether it's about the content, the flow, or the speakers. And again, you can go to GILeap, access this form, and then of course complete your evaluation to gain your CME credits. And with that, we are excited to start our program. And Prateek will be kicking off our session this morning with his lecture on the high quality upper endoscopy, utilization, yield, and need for improvement. And this is an excellent topic for our master endoscopist, Dr. Sharma, to start us off with. Thank you, Prateek.
