The ASGE First Year Fellows Endoscopy Course is a two-day comprehensive review of endoscopic technique and clinical management for fellows in their first year of training. The course covers both upper and lower endoscopy, as well as case-based endoscopic intervention. Participants will also learn about foreign body management, diagnostic upper endoscopy, and advanced techniques. The program includes a hands-on training session using ex-vivo animal models. The course begins with didactic sessions and then participants switch between hands-on sessions and didactic sessions. The course offers a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians. Participants must complete an online evaluation survey to claim credit for the course.
