Hello, and welcome to the ASGE livestream event, GI Unit Leadership, Restarting Your Quality Program. In addition to engaging in the live event today, each of you will have ongoing access to the recordings from the course via GI Leap, ASG's online learning management system. You already have a GI Leap account, or education bank as I like to call it. It's where you logged in for the meeting e-syllabus. In the near future, the recordings from the course will populate that account and we will let you know when they're available. Before the course directors officially kick off the day, a few housekeeping items. My name is Eden Essex, and I will be the announcer for this course. You will be able to submit questions and comments throughout the course, both verbally and in writing via the Q&A box. Regarding that Q&A box, please be sure to use it and not the chat box to submit questions or comments. That'll keep us organized. But it is even better if you raise your hand and we open your phone line so we can hear from you. Community is a team sport and we are a team today, so we hope you take advantage of all means of interacting. This course has been approved for 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. To receive your CME certificate, you must complete the course evaluation. The evaluation form will be available in GI Leap one hour before the close of the course. After completing the evaluation, you will be able to immediately download the CME certificate. Your feedback is extremely helpful in shaping the future of ASG courses, and we appreciate your comments. Faculty disclosures can be found in your program materials, and all potential conflicts of interest were resolved prior to this course. Now it is my pleasure to introduce our course directors. Dr. Gerard Eisenberg is the Chief Medical Quality Officer at University Hospitals Digestive Health Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Associate Chief and Director of Clinical Operations of the University's Division of Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. He currently serves on the ASG Quality Assurance and Endoscopy Committee. Dr. Nisa Kobilian is the Clinical Chief and Director of Endoscopy at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Kobilian is an alumnus of the ASG Leadership, Education, and Development Program and currently serves on the ASG Quality Assurance and Endoscopy Committee. I will now turn the proverbial floor over to Dr. Kobilian. Thank you, Eden, and welcome all to our seventh offering of the GI Unit Leadership course. As Gerard and I were planning this event and looking back at past agendas, we were struck by how very different each course has been. Each has really been designed to meet the moment, and we trust that you will find that true of today's course as well. The public health emergency and lingering effects of staffing shortages and supply chain issues, just to name two major impacts, has really thrown our healthcare system a curveball. I want to commend you all for your strength in these trying times and your optimism in being here as we move forward in ongoing recovery and continuing to deliver high-quality care to our patients. Now without further ado, I'll hand off to my co-course director, Dr. Gerard Eisenberg, for his opening remarks and our first presentation.
