Additionally, standardization of methods for storing, sharing, and labeling endoscopic images and videos is needed to ensure interoperability and facilitate AI algorithm development.<br /><br />3. Research Priorities: The task force emphasizes the need for high-quality prospective trials to measure the clinical impact of AI interventions in GI endoscopy. These trials should focus on clinically meaningful outcomes and include diverse patient groups and practice settings. The task force also highlights the importance of validating computer vision tools in prospective clinical trials.<br /><br />By addressing these priorities, the ASGE AI Task Force aims to support the successful integration of AI technologies in GI endoscopy practice.
