Pdf Summary
The TREAT-BE Consortium has developed quality indicators for endoscopic eradication therapies (EET) in Barrett's esophagus (BE) to reduce the incidence of esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC). The study used a formal methodology to identify indicators, which were ranked by experts. Compliance with these indicators can improve care and patient outcomes in BE-related neoplasia. Further research is needed to assess their impact and feasibility.
