Units applying for or renewing the ASGE Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program must have at least one representative complete this course.<br /><br />Accredited by the ACCME, the course offers up to 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 credits for physicians, with certificates of participation for non-physician attendees. Credit is claimable through an online evaluation on ASGE’s GI LEAP platform.<br /><br />ASGE ensures high scientific rigor, neutrality, and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality in course content. The curriculum aligns with the ASGE Outcome-Based Education Level 2 and addresses key competencies such as medical knowledge, practice improvement, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice. Faculty and planners disclose and mitigate any financial conflicts of interest.
