Pdf Summary
The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) will offer a two-day Interventional Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) course on October 17–18, 2026, at the ASGE Institute for Training and Technology in Downers Grove, Illinois.

The course provides hands-on training and expert instruction for clinicians developing or advancing therapeutic EUS skills. Topics include pancreatic fluid collection drainage, biliary and gallbladder drainage, gastrojejunostomy, tumor ablation, vascular interventions, and advanced tissue acquisition. Case discussions and practice with emerging technologies aim to build confidence in applying these minimally invasive procedures.

By the end of the course, participants should be able to make informed decisions about complex cases—including those involving altered anatomy or high-risk patients—select and deploy appropriate devices for advanced EUS procedures, and anticipate and manage procedural challenges and complications using evidence-based strategies.

The activity is designated for up to 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Participants can access presentation materials, complete the course evaluation, and claim CME through ASGE’s GI Leap learning platform at learn.asge.org.

Course directors and faculty represent academic and clinical institutions across the United States and Canada. ASGE states that relevant financial relationships were reviewed and mitigated. The course receives grant support from Boston Scientific, Fujifilm Healthcare Americas, and Olympus, with additional in-kind support from those organizations and Cook Medical.
