Hello, welcome to the ASG live stream event, Looking at GI Practice Management Differently. This is the third day of the ASGE Go! Practice Management Trifecta, so we are welcoming many of you back for day three of this four-day arc of courses. In addition to engaging in the live event today, each of you will have ongoing access to the recordings from the course via GI Leap, ASG's online learning platform. If you already have a GI Leap account, it is where you logged in for the course materials. In the near future, the recordings from the course will populate that account and we will let you know when they're available. Before the course directors officially kick off the day, a few housekeeping items. My name is Eden Essex and I will be the announcer for this course. You will be able to submit questions and comments throughout the course via the Q&A box. Please be sure to use the Q&A box and not the chat box to submit questions or comments. That'll keep us organized. This course has been approved for 6.75 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. To receive your CME certificate, you must complete the course evaluation. The evaluation form will be available in GI Leap one hour before the close of the course. After completing the evaluation, you will be able to immediately download the CME certificate. Your feedback is extremely helpful in shaping the future of ASG courses and we appreciate your comments. Faculty disclosures can be found in your program materials and all potential conflicts of interest were resolved prior to this course. Now it is my pleasure to introduce our course directors. For 15 years, Kimberly Awal has been the Director of Nursing at Kips Bay Endoscopy Center and Ambulatory Surgery Center in New York City, where she also serves as the Quality Coordinator and Risk Manager. Dr. Sufjan Chowdhury has been a partner at Gastro One, a large gastroenterology group in Tennessee, for the last six years. He obtained his MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Chowdhury currently serves as the ASG, Dr. Chowdhury currently serves on the ASG Practice Operations Committee. Dr. Rick Roman joined South Denver Gastroenterology in 2000 and has served as president since 2015. For over a decade, Dr. Roman has contributed as a medical staff leader at Swedish Medical Center and Health One in multiple roles, including president of the medical staff and chairman of the Health One President's Council. I will now turn the proverbial floor over to Dr. Chowdhury. Thank you, Eden, and thank you all for joining us today. As Rick, Kim and I were designing today's course, we really wanted to curate and build upon the many excellent discussions that we had in our community, and especially since the start of the pandemic and all the breakthroughs we had. These are really, really difficult and unprecedented times. Together, our GI community will grow in new ways, although, as you know, the growing pains will be tough. I'm really glad and heartened to see such a diversity in our audience today, from physicians to practice managers to nurse leaders and all the team members participating. And I look forward to a really dynamic and engaging discussion today. Before we start, we extend our thanks to Boston Scientific Corporation for their support of this course, in part through educational grant, as well as our promotional sponsors and exhibitors and who you can connect with through our virtual exhibit in the GI League.
