This ASG video tip is brought to you by an educational grant from Braintree, a part of Cibela Pharmaceuticals, makers of SUTAB. This lesion was seen in the rectum of a 58-year-old woman undergoing a screening colonoscopy. And the question is, what is this lesion? This is a typical neuroendocrine tumor, or carcinoid, very often located in the rectum, often small, firm, often yellowish in color, moving easily in the submucosa with probing.
