The framework for this year’s course is based upon the “The Day in the Life of an Endoscopist” concept, where we proceed from one case to another.  You will benefit from a blended approach of video-case-based presentations augmented by the practicalities of diagnostic and therapeutic procedural techniques, followed by supporting best practices.  Hear more about the course format from the Course Directors here.

Over 20 world-renowned faculty have curated their premier videos from the top live endoscopy courses worldwide. From their clinical practice to your practice, faculty will cover a wide array of case-based scenarios, including the latest endoscopic innovations. Throughout the four sessions, panelists will challenge presenters on their selection of techniques and technologies, highlighting evidence-based practice guidelines to enhance the quality of care.

Clinical topic areas have been carefully selected to reflect critical areas in endoscopy that will update all attendees. Topic highlights include adenoma detection and resection, polypectomy and clipping, Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, GI bleeding, dysplasia in IBD, deep enteroscopy, bariatric endoscopy, stenting vs. surgery, management of pancreatic fluid collections, and the latest in ERCP techniques, just to name a few. This course emphasizes video case-based instruction but also incorporates live expert panel discussions with audience participation and didactic lectures to optimize your overall learning experience.

1. Close other applications and browser tabs. This decreases the load on memory so your computer or other device can focus on streaming.
2. Use a 5 GHz frequency if your router supports it. The common 2.4 GHz frequency is used by household appliances, so is more crowded. Avoiding it is like getting into the carpool lane on a freeway: smoother sailing.
3. Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi if possible but GI LEAP is built with Wi-Fi in mind. 
4. Monitor your internet connection. If your ISP has promised you 5MBps and you are getting only 1MBps, it's time for a phone call to your internet provider to sort that out.
