Recent advancements in therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and complex endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) have significantly enhanced the management of gastrointestinal conditions. Innovations in EUS include improved techniques for EUS-guided biliary drainage, novel ablation methods for targeting tumors with precision, and enhanced control of gastrointestinal bleeding through more effective interventions. Meanwhile, complex ERCP has progressed with advanced methods for addressing difficult bile duct strictures and stones, refining preoperative planning, and treating pancreaticobiliary malformations, leading to better patient outcomes and reduced procedural risks. This is a recording of the ERCP/EUS Challenges webinar held on August 22, 2024.
