Released:  April 2019
Viewing Time:  1 hour and 5 minutes
Description
This one-hour recorded webinar will provide your practice with a current look into the 2020 ICD-10 changes and a peek into ICD-11. Excellent resource for physicians/providers, managers, coders, schedulers, preauthorization/utilization review coordinators, and clinical staff members.
Learning Objectives
This webinar will address the following questions and give clarity on these coding items:
  • Update/Overview on ICD-10 codes for 2020.
  • GI specific case studies: Walk-through how to code them appropriately.
  • ICD-11: As ICD-11 edges closer on the horizon, a sampling of these codes will be previewed. The structure is different and again, relies on specificity of documentation.
  • GI specific diagnosis issues: An update on payer issues specific to gastroenterology discussed as payment revolves around specificity.

Optimal Viewing Experience on GI Leap
Because all browsers continually roll out new versions and updates, it is not always practical to point to a particular browser as "better" than another. Because browsers are free, you can easily shift from one to another for various purposes. Whatever browser you are using, here are some tips for better streaming and viewing of ASGE videos:

  1. Close other applications and browser tabs. This decreases the load on memory so your computer or other device can focus on streaming.
  2. Use a 5 GHz frequency if your router supports it. The common 2.4 GHz frequency is used by household appliances, so is more crowded. Avoiding it is like getting into the carpool lane on a freeway: smoother sailing.
  3. Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi if possible but GI LEAP is built with Wi-Fi in mind.
  4. Monitor your internet connection. If your ISP has promised you 5MBps and you are getting only 1MBps, it's time for a phone call to your internet provider to sort that out.
