As a critical component of high-quality endoscopy services relates to the site of the procedure, the endoscopy unit, ASGE commissioned a task force to identify a compendium of quality indicators for endoscopy units in the United States to strengthen programming around the promotion of quality and to give endoscopy units an organizational framework within which they can direct their efforts. During this webinar, Joseph J. Vicari, MD, MBA, FASGE, focuses on unit efficiency and operations.
About the Presenter
About the Presenter: Dr. Vicari is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and joined Rockford Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. in 1997. He has held a faculty appointment at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford since that time. Dr. Vicari currently holds the academic rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. He has served as the Managing Partner of Rockford Gastroenterology Associates, Ltd. Dr. Vicari has chaired the Practice Management Committee of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a journal reviewer for the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
