Leadership Issues in the Era of COVID-19 | September 2020
Released: September 2020
Time: 1 hour 25 minutes
Description

Responsible leadership has taken on an even deeper meaning, as GI practices and their care teams find themselves in an unfamiliar, fast-moving environment. COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work already, with far-reaching impact. Leading with compassion and caring for our GI team and the patients whom they serve is more essential than ever. Virtually all GI practices are still determining how we change the way we work, short- and long-term. But speed is of the essence, as our workforces and communities try to function and perform, while struggling to cope with what is happening in their daily lives.

Learn from Dr. Nunn’s experiences as former President of the American Association for Physician Leadership. He is now giving back his talents through physician executive coaching, teaching medical students and working with the Certified Physician Executive program at the American Association for Physician Leadership. Dr. Colleen Schmitt will offer her practice’s experience and how it has evolved throughout the 2020 year, highlighting leadership skills she has had to draw upon and the practicalities of implementing with her care team
