This CME activity consists of the ASGE video, 3rd Space Endoscopy - The New Frontier of Endoscopic Intervention(OLV009), followed by a post-assessment and evaluation.
Third space endoscopy is evolving to be the new frontier of endoscopic interventions. The techniques of performing procedures in the intramural space have been refined and today a number of procedures like peroral endoscopic myotomy for achalasia cardia or submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection of submucosal tumors have become a reality.Aim: The aim of this educational DVD is to provide viewers an overview of the historical perspective, technical aspects, procedural details and complication management of this new evolving aspect of interventional endoscopy.
Practicing gastroenterologists, gastroenterology fellows and trainees, medical residents, physician assistants and nurses.
