    As more and more GI practices add services to their menu that supplement the basic GI services, this course is designed to educate/train the providers and staff on both documentation requirements and coding principles. Objectives include:

    • How to report Advanced Endoscopy Services:  EMR, ESD, Celiac blocks, Fistula closure, endoscopic myotomy
    • Billing for dietary counseling in your practice:  Registered dietitian versus NPP versus Physician
    • Overview of bariatric services such as the intragastric balloon and reimbursement issues
    • Proper documentation and reporting of diagnostic studies:  Manometry, Capsule Endoscopy, EMG, Biofeedback
    • Proper documentation and reporting of radiology services

  • Quality Indicators for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Units: Employee Experience 
    As a critical component of high-quality endoscopy services relates to the site of the procedure, the endoscopy unit, ASGE commissioned a task force to identify a compendium of quality indicators for endoscopy units in the United States to strengthen programming around the promotion of quality and to give endoscopy units an organizational framework within which they can direct their efforts. During this webinar, Nancy Schlossberg, BA, BSN, RN, CGRN, focuses on employee engagement and experience.
