Description

What are the current trends in the GI marketplace today?  Is it as strong as it once was or has Covid altered the trajectory of job opportunities?  Making initial or early career decisions on what direction to take in one’s GI practice setting not only is based upon compensation but the overall work environment and requirements. While there is no one perfect practice model, the most basic choice often comes down to joining with a hospital/health system or choosing independence.  After years of training that can extend beyond a decade, one’s desire to enter practice is going to be strong.
