Release Date: May 1, 2024
Description

The ASGE Education Council and our scientific journals, GIE and VideoGIE, are pleased to offer journal-based CME. This program is intended to give gastroenterology-trained physician readers of ASGE journals and their professional healthcare teams the opportunity to learn and earn continuing medical education credit to meet, in part, U.S.A. state relicensure credit requirements.

CME and MOC credits will only be awarded to physicians who meet a minimum performance level of 67% or higher on the post-test administered at the end of each article. Each post-test may be retaken an unlimited number of times until successfully completed. Additionally, participants are required to complete the evaluation associated with each article.

The maximum time associated with each article and its associated evaluation is one hour. Participants may only claim CME and MOC credits by successfully completing the post-test and evaluation associated with each article.

Optimal Viewing Experience in GI Leap
Although all browsers continually roll out new versions and updates, we currently recommend using Chrome for the best functionality when accessing GI Leap. Please note that Internet Explorer is not a supported browser. Follow these tips for better streaming and viewing of ASGE videos:

  1. Close other applications and browser tabs. This decreases the load on memory so your computer or other device can focus on streaming.
  2. Use a 5 GHz frequency if your router supports it. The common 2.4 GHz frequency is used by household appliances, so is more crowded. Avoiding it is like getting into the carpool lane on a freeway: smoother sailing.
  3. Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi if possible but GI LEAP is built with Wi-Fi in mind.
  4. Monitor your internet connection. If your ISP has promised you 5MBps and you are getting only 1MBps, it's time for a phone call to your internet provider to sort that out.
