ASGE Senior Fellows Program: An educational collaboration between ASGE and Physicians Endoscopy | August 2020
Registration Link
Program Description
It is estimated that there are 14,000 gastroenterologists and more than 2000 individual GI groups in the United States today. Approximately 50% of GI providers are estimated to be employed by hospitals or other health care organizations. What should GI Fellows be thinking about as they begin the final chapters of their formal training years? What do the different work environments look like? What opportunities and challenges do they provide? Will the present consolidation trends in GI practice continue? Will the current COVID crisis affect hiring of new providers? How can GI fellows obtain reliable answers to their questions about the GI practice environment? In fact, what questions should one be asking in the first place?

This course has been designed to help senior GI Fellows better understand the current and projected future of academic and non-academic GI groups of all sizes. Experts and GI Fellow co-moderators will facilitate discussions, provide their insights and answer questions. Take advantage of this program, network with your peers, and get all of your concerns addressed and your questions answered. We look forward to engaging with you in August 2020!

Note: A Zoom link and login instructions will be sent via email to all registered participants prior to the event.
