ERCP Boot Camp for the GI Team (On-Demand) | November 2019
Released:  December 2019
Viewing Time:  8 hours 50 minutes
Description
ERCP is one of the highest risk procedures in endoscopy. Learn how to refine your technique to provide the best and safest care to your patients.

This course offers a unique environment that emphasizes team dynamics and focuses on the distinct technical roles of physicians and assistants (RN or GI technician), who must work hand-in-hand to achieve the highest success for ERCP procedures. ERCP Boot Camp consists of both didactic and hands-on sessions. Hands-on session will emphasize proper use of technologies and techniques including cannulation, sphincterotomy, stones, stents, and stricture assessment with tissue sampling and wire manipulation. Optimal Viewing Experience on GI Leap
Because all browsers continually roll out new versions and updates, it is not always practical to point to a particular browser as "better" than another. Because browsers are free, you can easily shift from one to another for various purposes. Whatever browser you are using, here are some tips for better streaming and viewing of ASGE videos:

  1. Close other applications and browser tabs. This decreases the load on memory so your computer or other device can focus on streaming.
  2. Use a 5 GHz frequency if your router supports it. The common 2.4 GHz frequency is used by household appliances, so is more crowded. Avoiding it is like getting into the carpool lane on a freeway: smoother sailing.
  3. Use Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi if possible but GI LEAP is built with Wi-Fi in mind.
  4. Monitor your internet connection. If your ISP has promised you 5MBps and you are getting only 1MBps, it's time for a phone call to your internet provider to sort that out.
